Mario Velarde Velázquez (born March 29, 1940) is a former Mexican football midfielder, who played for the Mexico national team between 1962 and 1972. He was part of the Mexico squad for the 1962 and 1970 world cups.

At club level, Velarde played for Necaxa and Pumas
