The Gurdjieff Foundation is a variety of organisations based on the ideas of George Gurdjieff.

Gurdjieff inspired the formation of many groups after his death. Of these the largest [1], the Gurdjieff Foundation, was organized and led by Jeanne de Salzmann from the early 1950s, in cooperation with other direct pupils, until her death in 1990; and until his death in 2001 by Michel de Salzmann.

The International Association of the Gurdjieff Foundations [2] is an umbrella group for the four main organisations: The Gurdjieff Foundation in the USA, The Gurdjieff Society in the UK, the Institut Gurdjieff in France and GI Gurdjieff Foundation - Caracas in Venezula [3]. There is a network of partner foundations in South America.

The president of the Gurdjieff Foundation of New York was Lord Pentland from its formation in 1953 until his death in 1984. It was then led by Paul Reynard, a painter and Master of Gurdjieff Movements. As of 2009 Frank R. Sinclair, author of Without Benefit of Clergy, presides. A group in India is led by Ravi Ravindra, who was a student under Mme De Salzmann and Dr. Welch.
