The R/V Akademik Tryoshnikov (Template:Lang-ru) is a Russian scientific diesel-electric research vessel, the flagship of the Russian polar research fleet.
The vessel is constructed under the state order. The project have developed Krylov Shipbuilding Research Institute with Baltsudoproekt Bureau. Creation of it vessel became event for the Russian Polar science, the previous research vessel has been put into operation 25 years ago[1].
