Magione is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Perugia in the Italian region Umbria, located about 15 km west of Perugia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 13,207 and an area of 129.8 km².[3]

The municipality of Magione contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Agello, Antria, Borgogiglione, Caligiana, Collesanto, Montecolognola, Monte del Lago, Montemelino, Montesperello, San Feliciano, San Savino, Sant’Arcangelo, Torricella, Villa, and Soccorso.

Magione borders the following municipalities: Castiglione del Lago, Corciano, Panicale, Passignano sul Trasimeno, Perugia, Tuoro sul Trasimeno, and Umbertide.
