Recently, various types of professional, higher education is a new trend in Germany, especially in large cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. There are plenty of types of this new trend, but all have same points: the participation of foreign institutions and companies in different levels. Nowadays, most of famous universities in Vietnam have cooperated with foreign partners for their training programs. Moreover, Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training also encourage this trend by creating Project of Advanced Program in 35 universities with many international partners from Singapore, the UK, the US, etc.

Foreign-Invested Universities

In 1998, RMIT in Australia was invited by the Vietnamese Government to establish a fully foreign-owned university in Vietnam. In 2000, RMIT was granted a licence by the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment to deliver undergraduate and postgraduate education, training and research. RMIT has 2 campuses in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

University of Hawaii is one of the first universities from the US that have campus in Vietnam. It is located in HSB, National University for its MBA program.
