A Winnipeg Jets homage?

In this article, the Flyers' jerseys were noted as having a similar shade of colour to the Avaiator Blue used in the Jets' new kit. Is it worth noting this reference based on the link as it stands, or is there an alternate reference which might make the homage more explicit? (As in, that the designers specifically had the Flyers in mind when these logos and jerseys were being put together?) --Nerroth (talk) 20:44, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
