Gyration

Gyration is another term for rotation. A center of actual rotation as well as rotational symmetry may be called gyration center, gyration point, or rotocenter. See also radius of gyration. Other terms with the "gyro-" root for rotation are gyroscope and gyroelongated. See also more terms with gyro.
