Sudislavl (Russian: Судиславль) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) and the administrative center of Sudislavsky District of Kostroma Oblast, Russia, situated 50 kilometers (31 mi) from Kostroma and 345 kilometers (214 mi) northeast of Moscow. Population: 5,373 (2002 Census);[4] 5,783 (1989 Soviet census).[5]
