I rewrote the Jamie Thomas page a bit to emphasize the point that he didn't actually land the Leap of Faith. I also made a few minor edits that didn't really change anything (spelling, syntax, etc.) --Nichenbach 12:08, 28 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Leap of Faith

Although many people believe that Jamie Thomas, proffesional skateboarder, succesfully landed the "Leap Of Faith", he didn't.He attempted the "leap" in the skate video "Thrill Of It All", but wasn't succesful. He tried to do a melon grab off the leap but snapped his board each attempt.Although he didnt land it, he is still a GOD to every discipline of the sport of skateboarding.

As I recall (I think I have it in an issue of Transworld Skateboarding or Thrasher), the Leap of Faith landing was replaced with grass. I'm going to put something like that in the article, unless someone has more accurate information. This will make it less ambiguous than "it was removed"... how do you remove a drop like that? --Nichenbach 05:21, 19 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
