RfA Results and Thanks
Kimchi.sg, thank you for supporting me in my recent RfA. Although it did not succeed as no consensus was declared (final: 65/29/7), I know that there is always an opportunity to request adminship again. If and when that day comes, I hope you will once again support me. If at any time I make any mistakes or if you would like to comment on my contributions to Wikipedia, you are more than welcome to do so. Regardless of your religious, cultural, and personal beliefs, I pray that whatever and whoever motivates you in life continues to guide you on the most righteous path. |
==Welcome to VandalProof== Thanks for your interest in VandalProof! You've been added to the list of authorized users, and I will do my best to notify you once a download becomes available. AmiDaniel (Talk) 17:22, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

Cantonese
You mean you speak Cantonese at home? In that case, you can catch up with the spoken characters easily - when you try to write anything, use your mouth to speak it up instead of attempting to type directly. Then for each word you speak (use a mic to record it and playback, maybe?) turn it into a word and type. Anyway nice to hear that you actually speak Cantonese. --Deryck C. 04:16, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
- I've never been typing Cantonese from an linux. I typed all my Chinese from HKSCS-enriched windows computers. Alternatively, as the HKSCS words are available on the edit toolbox of Cantonese Wikipedia, any computer with Chinese IMEs will do. --Deryck C. 14:52, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
- Install that on top of a traditional chinese windows computer. --Deryck C. 08:33, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
thanks for the support
Hi Kimchi- thanks a lot for your support on my recent, (barely) successful rfa. Please feel free to leave me any comments or criticisms on my talk page! --He:ah? 22:20, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
Kusma's RfA
Hello, Kimchi.sg! Thank you for your support in my recent successful request for adminship. If you ever have problems that you could use my assistance with or see me doing stupid things with my new buttons, don't hesitate to contact me. Happy editing, Kusma (討論) 02:24, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
A Download Is Now Available
I just wanted to let you know that a download of VandalProof has recently been made available. AmiDaniel (Talk) 09:49, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 04:26, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

VandalProof 1.1 is Now Available For Download
Happy Easter to all of you, and I hope that this version may fix your current problems and perhaps provide you with a few useful new tools. You can download version 1.1 at User:AmiDaniel/VandalProof. Let me warn you, however, to please be extremely careful when using the new Rollback All Contributions feature, as, aside from the excessive server lag it would cause if everyone began using it at once, it could seriously aggitate several editors to have their contributions reverted. If you would like to experiment with it, though, I'd be more than happy to use my many sockpuppets to create some "vandalism" for you to revert. If you have any problems downloading, installing, or otherwise, please tell me about them at User:AmiDaniel/VP/Bugs and I will do my best to help you. Thanks. Andy Miller
Mate what have you done with this article? I know Andy Miller's band is Hey Gravity, its on myspace and Andy has confirmed this to me.
Where do you get M.A.S.S from? And did you delete the Hey Gravity page?
What are you playing at mate? Check your facts. GWP 11:47, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- OK. I reverted my changes to your version. But added in this link. M.A.S.S. looks like the former group of another singer in Hey Gravity!.
- And it wasn't me who deleted the page. Please look at the "pages started" section on your user page and you will see a few red links, which means that the page has been deleted, by a sysop. I'm not a sysop so I cannot delete pages at all. Kimchi.sg | talk 10:34, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
- After taking a look at Dodgy, I decided to just make your article into a stub. It has very little information on Andy himself, and a lot on Dodgy and Hey Gravity!, which belong more properly in their respective articles. Kimchi.sg | talk 14:03, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
SARX
I noticed that you proposed a deletion for SARX saying that they don't have a fanbase throughout bc. i live in kamloops and have been to 3 of their shows in the past 6 months at 2 different bars and the second two times the bars were basically packed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by bcforlife (talk • contribs) 13:09, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
- How can I just take your word for it? If they are really well-known, their songs will probably receive radio airtime or get written about in some newspaper. But the article does not mention this.
- In other words, although I like the name of this group (and I said so right from the start in the deletion debate), if the band does not meet Wikipedia's band notability guidelines, the article on the band may be deleted. Kimchi.sg | talk 10:34, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
Admin coaching
It looks like we've been assigned User:EivindFOyangen to coach under the admin coaching program. I've suggested he (assume he from username?) sets up a user subpage to keep all coaching things together, and asked for a general idea of what he wants out of the program. Look forward to working with you. Cheers, Petros471 19:55, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- User:EivindFOyangen/Admin coaching now exists, please add your input as you feel is appropriate- and of course let me know you think I'm feeding bad information (:-O) or if you have any suggestions as to what we should be doing as coaches. Petros471 20:05, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Old Skool Esperanzial note
Since this isn't the result of an AC meeting, I have decided to go Old Skool. This note is to remind you that the elections are taking place now and will end at 23:50 UTC on 2006-04-29. Please vote here. Thanks. --Celestianpower háblame 20:42, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

Just another RFA thank you note
Dear Kimchi, I appreciate your vote and your kind words in my RFA. It has passed with an unexpected 114/2/2 and I feel honored by this show of confidence in me. Cheers! ←Humus sapiens ну? 03:04, 26 April 2006 (UTC) |
Failed Adminship tallies.
Pick a letter that you haven't done yet and I'll do it tommorrow. JoshuaZ 00:36, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for voting on my RfA
Thanks so much for voting! Thanks so much for voting on my request for adminship. I have decided to withdraw my nomination as it seems that consensus will not be reached. If you voted in support, thanks for putting your trust in me to be a good admin. If you voted in opposition, thank you as well for your criticism as it will only help me be a better Wikipedian and perhaps help if/when I apply for adminship again sometime in the future.

Apparently I'm a troll
Are you a bureaucrat on that vote?
What makes it a troll vote?
Also, should I just quit now and leave wikipedia? It seems that people like to complain about me.
