Redkinia is a genus of rod-like Ediacaran fossil fringed with large and small projections[1] that has been putatively compared with the arthropod mandible [2] and the mouthparts of Wiwaxia and Odontogriphus[3] If a jaw, it would have been used for filter-feeding rather than crushing.[4]
