Sustainability advertising is communications geared towards promoting the awareness of ethical, socially-conscious and environmental causes through paid advertising or public relations.

Ethical adverising agencies interested in sustainability advertising find alternatives to traditional advertising models such as fear, shock, or shame based advertising, or advertising using the poison-remedy model. Ethical advertising uses postivism to do good work for good clients.
