Nivin Pauly (born October 11, 1984), is an Indian film actor who predominantly acts in Malayalam films. He is best known for his debut film Malarvadi Arts Club (2010). His second collaboration with Vineeth Sreenivasan, Thattathin Marayathu (2012), created a bigger mark at the box office.[1]
Personal Life
Nivin was born in Aluva a town in Ernakulam district, Kerala. He was born into a Syrian Jacobite Christian family. He graduated with a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication from Federal Institute of Science And Technology, Kochi in 2006. He was employed in Infosys, Bangalore until the death of his father brought him back home. He happened to try out for a talent hunt for the movie Malarvadi Arts Club and was thus discovered. He married his college sweetheart, Rinna Joy on 28 August 2010. They have a baby boy christened Neil (Born 2 June 2012).
Career
Film career
He started his career with the movie Malarvadi Arts Club, which he donned the lead role.[2] After the success, he currently has a list of Malayalam films in his hands. Even though the movie The Metro failed at the Box-office he still managed to make a good impact with the Character Hari Krishnan maintaining a tough and Rogue look. Guest appearance in the movie Traffic also added value to his career. His roles in the film Sevenes and in the album Yuvvh were also noted well in the industry. His latest film Thattathin Marayathu is now currently as the highest grossing Malayalam film of 2012. He was appreciated for his acting for this film.
