Hostivice
Template:Geobox Hostivice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈɦoscɪvɪtsɛ]) is a town in the Czech Republic, a suburb on the west border of Prague. It is close to Prague Ruzyně Airport and on the main road from Prague to Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad).
History

Hostivice territory has been inhabited since prehistoric times. The New Stone Age (Neolithic) originate residential houses of the Linear Pottery culture and Stroked Pottery. An important finding is the Funnel Beaker culture settlement from the late Stone Age in the STS. From the Bronze Age have been discovered in the necropolis Paloukách Unetic culture and extensive settlement Knovíz culture.
