Brentwood?

Brentwood isn't a separate town, and the "south of the tracks"/"south of 169" bit makes no sense, since most of downtown is southeast of both of those things anyway. I've removed this from the "Local culture" section, which is still a mess. android 79 22:09, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, looking back through the recent edit history, it looks like there was a revert war over the inclusion of the Dahm triplets as famous Jordan natives. Sex abuse scandal

Like it or not, this is a notable part of Jordan's history. It should remain.

Yes, it's a bit jarring to have a big section on something this sordid without much else to recommend the town, but I think the solution to that is to add more info (history, etc.) to the article, and to make sure the section makes the truth about the "scandal" crystal clear. android 79 02:58, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Our dear south metro fringe

I have placed Jordan under my South of the River improvement list. I have a question though: Jordan is technically within the reach of the metropolitan area and many (well in the south metro) consider Jordan a fringe metro suburb, much like how Faribault might be a "suburb." Rice County, Minnesota and Scott County, Minnesota are both considered part of the metro area, however I'm sure that businesses in Faribault, Minnesota employ a much higher percentage of that city's residents than Jordan's employers do.
