This single is the first single in 2014 as the previous single "Suzukake no Ki no Michi de "Kimi no Hohoemi o Yume ni Miru" to Itte Shimattara Bokutachi no Kankei wa Dō Kawatte Shimau no ka, Bokunari ni Nannichi ka Kangaeta Ue de no Yaya Kihazukashii Ketsuron no Yō na Mono" was released late 2013. This single will be released in 4 types; Type A (Normal / Limited Edition), Type B (Normal / Limited Edition), Type C (Normal / Limited Edition), Theater Edition.
The main song in this single, "Mae Shika Mukanee" was sung to the public for the first time on 24 January 2014 at Tokyo Dome City Hall on the concert "AKB48 Request Hour Setlist Best 200 2014 (Part 1)". Almost all members who participate in this song had been participating in the song "Heart Electric". The two members who didn't participate in this song are Iriyama Anna and HKT48's Oota Aika, they are replaced by Kojima Mako and Suda Akari . This also marks Kojima Mako's first appearance as a Senbatsu member.
