Callard and Bowser-Suchard Inc. is a Rye Brook, New York subsidiary of Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company responsible for Altoids mints and other products. Since the exceptionally strong mints-or "curiously strong" mints as it's advertising has strong held- become prominent in the mid-1990s, Callard and Bowser has added a number of products under the Altoids name.

Once an independent confectioner famous for its butterscotch, barley sugar, liquorice toffee and other traditional sweets, Callard & Bowser was owned by Kraft Foods until 2004.

According to Wrigley, only the Altoids and LifeSaver brands were acquired in the 2004 acquisition.
