Kutakan (Armenian: Կուտական), Gunəşli (Template:Lang-Azərbaycanca) is a village in the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia. It was formerly known as Sultan Ali Kishlak and Gyunashli. Until 1968, Kutakan was known as Janahmed (Canəhməd). The village was completely inhabited by Azerbaijanis untill 1988, who were expelled from their historical lands due to the Armenian - Azerbaijani conflict. The Kutakan community also includes the nearby village of Zariver.[1]
