Media Arts and Practice
Created in 2013, Media Arts and Practice is the seventh degree-granting division of the USC School of Cinematic Arts. In addition to offering an undergraduate major, Media Arts and Practice houses the Ph.D. in Media Arts and Practice (iMAP) program, which began accepting students in 2007. The iMAP doctoral program is a practice-based Ph.D. program, in which students develop skills in both the theory and practice of media arts, doing doctoral level research that may be realized in an exclusively digital form.[1]
