Hannibal Brooks is a film about a man trying to get to Switzerland, from Germany, in WWII, accompanied by an Indian elephant.

Plot

Template:Spoiler A POW in the Second World War is put to work in a Munich zoo, looking after an Indian elephant.

The zoo is bombed by Americans and he and the elephant escape, running through Germany to Switzerland. They have many thrilling adventures on the way.
