Duncan Chow
Duncan Chow(Chinese:周群達) (born Duncan Lai(Chinese:賴登勤), September 19 1978) is a Hong Kong-born actor who was popular in Taiwan. Originally he was a profeesional windsurfer and a fashion show model, but chose acting as a career in 2001. He is the nephew of former Hong Kong olympian Lee Lai Shan.
Acting Career
He began his acting career from a young age as the infant version of Bruce Lee in a Bruce Lee tribute film called Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story in 1993, and gained minor recognition from appearances on Taiwanese TV. Later in life, he starred in Formula 17 and Seven Swords and became one of the most popular actors in Taiwan.
Drug Possession
Chow was arrested for drug possession in September 2005. He broke down during a subsequent press conference in Busan, South Korea. He claimed this was through legitimate remorse, but it is rumoured that his crying had been staged to regain the affection of the public. Currently he is living in Taiwan and Japan(in purpose of promoting Taiwanese movies).And his current gilfriend is Megan Lai,a Taiwanese pop idol.
Trivia
Chow has been living in Cheung Chau,Hong Kong most of his life,And his father,Lai Ken,is a wel-known windsurfing coach in Hong Kong.
