Tung Soo Hua (Chinese: 董素华; pinyin: Dǒng Sùhúa) is an acclaimed news anchor and programme presenter with MediaCorp. Tung Soo Hua joined MediaCorp in 1997 as a news editor before becoming a news reporter and anchor in 2000. Having fronted Channel 8 news programmes such as Singapore Today, Singapore Today Roving News, News 8 at Ten, Money Week and World This Week, she has interviewed over 30 CEOs and financial figures of listed companies, reaffirming her accomplishment as the programme host of Singapore’s leading financial television programme. She won the Best News/Current Affairs Presenter award in Star Awards 2004 and 2005. She is also currently pursuing a Masters degree in International Studies at National University of Singapore.
