Plot synposis
Lazarus Jones is a Vietnam veteran who lost his legs in in the war, in an helicopter explosion that killed four of his brothers-in-arms. Suffering post-traumatic stress disorder, he descends into alcohol and drug abuse. Years later he still wishes he had died with his friends, and lives a life bordering on despair.
On a visit to the Vietnam Memorial with his wife Chris, he suffers a car accident which puts him in a coma and is transported to another dimension where his friends are alive and have become warriors in a never-ending battle against Lord Na and the forces of Outer Darkness.
