"Problems can occur with dashboard illumination but in typical Fiat style a hard thump on the control which isn't illuminated usually solves the problem." removed b/c "Wikipedia surveys existing human knowledge; it is not a place to publish new work. Do not write articles that present your own original theories, opinions, or insights." :) WP:YFA Emuka 11:44, 22 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It isn't even true. There is one illumination circuit on the dash period. Therefore hitting the "control" won't change that.

Revised

Hello. I've revised this a little, updated the grammar etc etc. I've also checked on the FIAT Brazil website and I've updated the engines/specs. Feel free to add PS aswell as kW and bhp.

Just thought it'd be a bit clearer.

Thank You

After I'd tidied this article up a bit, I noticed someone's formatted my information better, but with a few mistakes grammatically - but, I have to say, whoever did that made the article easier to read. Thanks!

Tailights

I do not believe the tailights where taken from Lancia Lybra simply because this car never was present in the brazilian market and the team that changed the Marea tailights were from Brazil. It´s improbable that that was the case. This Lancia Lybra is completely unknown to the brazilian market. The tailights are only concidentaly similar. By the way, how many tailights are almost identical? Many... Lots... Regards. Loudenvier 17:10, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it may sound crazy to talk to oneself alone but, yes, I think I was wrong: I litle research on the specialized press here in Brazil had brought my arguments to the ground: The tailights from the "new" Marea were taken from the Lancia Libra. I will uptade the article myself with proper references. Regards Loudenvier 17:21, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You are from Brazil? Esplêndido! (or something) The articles on Brazilian automobiles are in desperate need of an editor well-versed in the Brazilian reality and sources, not to mention Portuguese! See Chevrolet Opala or the, yet non-existent Chevrolet Celta, for starters. If you would be willing to spend some time working on this important area in Wikipedia, I will be glad to help you anyway that I can, and also try to assemble a bigger team! Well, I´m from Brazil. Esplêndido is correct! But it´s not used very much in Brazil, Ótimo is more common (but it less incisive too). :-) I´ve worked on the Marea, Fiat Brava and Opel Tigra articles. I can be of greater use because I can translate (read) portuguese since it´s obviously my mother tongue :-), and I´m also a litle bit enthusiastic about automobiles and wikipedia. Just keep a watch on my edits, because they desperately need some copy-edit because my english is not as good as I wish it was. Regards Loudenvier 20:00, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
