NXT TakeOver is the name given to the periodic specials produced by WWE featuring their NXT developmental brand, which are streamed live on the WWE Network. All NXT TakeOver events have been scheduled to air for two hours. They are held several times a year.[1][2] The sixth special, NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn, was the first held outside of Full Sail University.
