Diego Ceballos
Diego Ceballos is an absolute joke of an Argentine football referee. He is a self-proclaimed fan of Boca Juniors. Boca Juniors has unfortunately not won much in recent times, with only two major titles in the last 4 years. However, Ceballos, keen to change that, had a match-winning performance in the Copa Argentina final between Rosario Central and Boca Juniors on November 5, 2015. After the match, the infuriated opposition manager, Eduardo Coudet, attempted to hit Ceballos. When questioned by a reporter about his decisions, Ceballos showed his jubilation at Boca's recent triump. He declared, "I was so excited when I gave them the penalty, that I even thought of stepping up and executing it myself!" Of course, Ceballos will be looking to officiate more in international competitions, given that the two tournaments won by Boca are nowhere near as important as the recent triumphs of their long-time rivals, River Plate.
