Competition by its very nature is unfair. There is no definition for "fair competition" in websters for that very reason
What are you talking about. The contribution I last made was neutral and factual. Vegas makes odds on every game because the competition is almost always uneven. Jama Aden page
Hi,
I see that you reposted the content on the page Jama Aden. This page is about me. The content "controversies" have sources and references that does not mention me personally. They are all about people who do not believe or like what I do therefore has the person who uploaded this used this.
For some reason the person who started this has a grudge of some sort against me.
This violates me.
I just deleted the whole page.
Can you permanently remove it please?

LGBT rights in Tuvalu - recent edit reverted
I changed 'male on male sex' to 'homosexual male sex' because I don't believe 'male on male' is the common parlance in this domain and to me sounds somewhat infantile. In my opinion 'homosexual male' rather than 'male on male' is a more technical, and thus ideologically neutral, term. I'm going to change it again, if you feel strongly in favour of 'male on male' sex, please let me know why.

Etymology of Guernsey
- So you took away my recent comment on the etymology of Guernsey. Probably you did not like (a) that it was given at all and (b) its contents. I understand full well that since I could not quote any (reliable) sources for my etymology you probably thought it best to delete my comment. Be that as it may, I'm still pretty sure that the etymology of the name Guernsey can be made up, for an underlying *wernissi "alder island" (a compound of *werna and *inissi, with syllabic haplology of -ni-ni- to -ni-) could well have become as *Wernsei whence Guerns-ey with a popular connection to the Norse word ey "island".
- Of course we cannot know this for sure, but in the interest of those who are searching the Wikipedia to find information on such place names, it could be feasible to add suggestions as to the origin of the place names provided that everybody understands that they are just possibilities. That's why I had prefixed the word "probably" to my sentence.
- But do not worry, I'm not going to bother you and other sensible Wikipedia users with my etymological suggestions any more (this wasn't the first time that such a thing happened). I would, however, appreciate if you took such a rigorous politics of deleting everything in Wikipedia that does not meet your strict measures, not just a comment here and another there. Thank you

Toilet Related Injuries & Deaths
Hey, I'm fine with you taking down what I wrote on the Toilet Related Injuries & Deaths, I after all posted it in a possible inclusions category. I just thought that straining to poo on toilets causing injury was toilet related, and that a myth perpetuated about catching diseases was relevant. Anyway, thankyou. Moving on, I was wondering if you wanted to read this article on the Straight Dope: http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/1171/did-a-vacuum-flush-commode-once-suck-a-womans-insides-out. It is quite interesting. Also, I was wondering if perhaps you wanted to get some statistics in. They are unsourced currently, but I could get some sourcing on them for you. Here are some statistics. 1. The more time you spend in the bathroom, specifically reading, the more likely you are to develop haemorrhoids, or swollen blood vessels in & around the anus. Paruresis (AKA Shy bladder Syndrome) is a phobia 21 000 000 Americans suffer from where they are afraid of peeing in public places. (this could be psychological toilet related injury) 4. More than 3 800 000 Australians are estimated to have continence issues, representing 18% of the population. 4. 1.6 million people in the UK have continence problems 5. 85% of bathroom related injuries occur when someone falls into the toilet after the seat has been left up. Also, you might want to check out the invention for: 'Method of Bio-waste Removal from Isolated Dwelling Compartment of Military Facility and Device for its Implementation' which is a patent of a method Russians used to basically enclose excrement in shells and use it as ammunition. I would say that is a potential injury. Previous confusion on my part may have been due to the fact that where I live, in Australia, when we say we are going to the toilet, it means we are going to defecate or urinate, especially applicable in wild places. That's why for me the process and the object get lumped together a bit. Anyway, thanks for your time, have a nice day, JoshMuirWikipedia (talk) 02:08, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

Hello
I wanted to message back to you about the "Outsider Music" edit. I felt as though The Residents would be a strong addition to the page, particularly because of this paragraph on the band's wiki page:
"Its albums generally fall into two categories: deconstructions of Western popular music; and complex conceptual pieces, composed around a theme, theory or plot. The group is noted for surrealistic lyrics and sound, disregard for conventional music composition, and the over-the-top theatrical spectacle of their live performances."
If artists such as Captain Beefheart could be considered outsider music, I felt that The Residents seemed close to the definition as well. Maybe I'm off the mark, though. I wasn't 100% sure. I do listen to a lot of outsider artists (Daniel Johnston, Crispin Glover, etc.).
Reversion
Hi there,
The edit I made on British Rail Class 345 is a genuine one, I think it is constructive to point out that in a modern city like London on a brand new train service that there will be no toilets anywhere on a nine carriage train. If I knew a little more how it works, I'd provide citation from a credible source.

- 13EJanjua - You should review Wikipedia's guidelines on conflict of interest. In short, it is highly discouraged behavior to create articles, edit articles, or even participate in discussions that involve articles where you have personal ties with the article subject. For example, I do not touch any articles involving my place of employment, where I went to school, or the place that I live. It adds risk that content may be added that is not written in a neutral point of view, a founding principal that Wikipedia operates on. Please let me know if you have any questions. I'll be happy to answer them. Cheers -- ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 23:29, 2 February 2016 (UTC)

Conflicting dates for the Groundbreaking for construction of the World Trade Center: August 5, 1966, vs. August 25, 1966.
":" Hi, I am completely new to the process of editing information on Wikipedia, and not tech savvy in the least, so when I try to read the directions for the correct way to make an edit, what format and code to use, and all the other criteria, it feels very overwhelming/confusing. About a day ago I made an attempt to correct a discrepancy involving the date for the Groundbreaking for Construction of the World Trade Center, but I apparently didn't follow the right guidelines or provide enough information to explain or back my change, so you reverted my edit, saying that it "did not appear to be constructive". I'm not exactly sure what that means, if it's referring to the way I posted the links, or if it has to do with the credibility, or lack of explanation for the change, but I did try posting different links, and I didn't feel like I was doing it right. Maybe you could help me. I'd like to further explain my change. At the top of the Wikipedia page it has construction dates for the World Trade Center listed and where it says Groundbreaking, it has August 25, 1966, however, on the same page down below, under the section on Construction, it says the Groundbreaking for construction began on August 5, 1966. The August 25 date doesn't mention a source as far as I could see on the page or even in the editing section (unless it's in some form of code that I can't read). After the last of the construction dates it sites the Port Authority Website, which just says August, 1966, but doesn't mention the day. On the Wikipedia page, the August 5 date down below has a link to "The World Trade Center Building Performance Study" by FEMA. The link appears to be a rotten link, but I was able to look the book up online in Google Books and found where it gives the August 5 date for the Groundbreaking. I went to the trouble of gathering screen shots (I don't know if I can send those here or not) for all the sources that come up when I do a Google search for both dates (August 5, and August 25) for the Groundbreaking for Construction on the WTC, and from what I could gather, the August 5 date seems more credible, as the sources for that date appear more reliable. The World Trade Center's official website wtc.com, in the History-Timeline section says the date for the Groundbreaking for construction was August 5, 1966. There are also many other sources that provide that date that feel reliable, like: nyc-architecture.com, nyctourist.com, skyscraper.org, architectuul.com, nydailynews.com "9/11 remembered: The Iconic Twin Towers through the Years", pbs.org, newyorkarchitecture.info, ussartf.org, and books: "World Trade Center" by Tamar L. Britton, "The 9/11 Encyclopedia, 2nd Edition" by Edited by Stephen E. Atkins, "Failure Consequences and Reliability Acceptance Criteria for the Exceptional Building Structures: A Study Taking Basis in the Failure of the World Trade Center Twin Towers" by Michael H. Faber, Oliver Kubler Mario Fantana, Makus Knobloch, and then of course the FEMA book I first mentioned. On the other hand when I do a Google search "World Trade Center Groundbreaking for construction, August 25, 1966", the sources for that date seem less reliable. Many of the sites seem to just be copying straight from Wikipedia, and include the same conflicting dates, August 25 at the top of the page and August 5 down below, with no source for the August 25 date. One example is gutenberg.us. Others like this include a site called mondowindow.com, and a Facebook page called That 70's Page. On a website called everything.explained.today it says August 25, 1966 at the top and then in the information below where it mentions the Groundbreaking it just says it "took place on, 1966", and there is no source for the August 25 date. Another site called press.com also uses the August 25 date, but doesn't provide a source, so I don't know where that date is coming from, but when I weigh the sources for the 2 different dates, the August 5 date feels more sound, particularly with the World Trade Center Official Website, and the FEMA book listing that date. I hope my information is helpful and adequate to at least justify consideration for my change. I think I'm right, but would definitely hate to make a change if it's wrong, so if there is anything I'm missing, please let me know. I of course am willing to provide anything more like screen shots, which I have plenty of, and links (I didn't provide those because I'm not very good at all that) if you need those, I can probably figure out how to just go back and copy the links to all the sites I just mentioned and send them in another message, as long as I know how to do it right. Sorry if this message is really long and tedious. At least this should explain what I'm trying to do. Hopefully you can help me (LOL!). Thanks 70.15.123.251 (talk) 07:03, 1 February 2016 (UTC)

You gave, correctly, a warning to this user following his/her unarguable vandalism. You then immediately reported this vandalism to vandalism report page, which is an implicit request for block imposition.
