Ward Beysen listen (26 June, 194114 January, 2005) was a Belgian politician who started his political career in the Flemish Liberal party, the PVV, which was renamed VLD.

Born in Mortsel near Antwerp, he was a member of the European Parliament for the VLD in Flanders. He became dissatisfied with the increasingly leftist policies of the VLD and left to start his own political party, the Liberaal Appèl, in 2003. After the death of its founder, the future of the party Liberaal Appèl is in doubt. Newspapers reported that it was being closed down on March 19, 2005, but the current party leader has refuted this. Liberaal Appèl is now known as "Liberaal Appèl Plus".

Beysen died by drowning himself in the lake of Fort number 6 in Wilrijk south of Antwerp.
