Template:Infobox musical artist 2 Choi Si Won (Korean: 최시원) (February 10 1987) is an actor and a member of Korean boy band Super Junior.

Pre-fame

Choi Si won became an SM Entertainment trainee when he appeared at Starlight Casting System in 2003. The same year he made his first appearance in Dana's music video "What is Love." Prior to his official debut as a member of Super Junior, he had several minor roles in Korean dramas. His most noteworthy role was in the drama "Eighteen, Twenty-Nine", where he played the character, Kang Sangyoung, in high school. Around this time, there were plans of making him a member of TVXQ[citation needed]. However, the idea fell through and the group made their debut without him.

Debut

Choi Si Won officially deubted as a member of Super Junior in October 2005. Although his vocal skills relatively weaker compared to the other members, he is one of the more popular members of Super Junior. He also continued his acting career and shortly after Super Junior's debut, he joined the cast of the Korean drama mini-series Spring Waltz. He will soon be seen in the epic film "Battle of Witts" with Hong Kang actor Andy Lau. "Battle of Witts" is a big budget film with joint collaboration from China, South Korea, and Japan.
