Bloo is the debut extended play by American model, singer and songwriter Kacy Hill. It was released through GOOD Music, Def Jam Recordings and PMR Recordings on 9 October 2015.[1]
Background
The debut extended play came about when Kacy first wanted to do music. When she was in the middle of her modelling career, she realised that she was something that she did like doing, but couldn't picture herself actually doing it for the whole of her life, so she decided to explore what other options there were available to her.
Eventually, within the middle of 2014, she got signed to GOOD Music, which is a record label currently run by Kanye West, and to Def Jam Recordings later. Once it came to September of the same year, she recorded vocals and filmed the music video for her debut single, entitled "Experience". It was released on 14 September 2014.
In the beginning of 2015, she had a little attention from social media. She also began to reveal that she was working on writing and producing new music, specifically on a song, entitled "Foreign Fields" and that it was scheduled to be coming soon.
Towards the end of the summer of 2015, Kacy revealed the details of her debut extended play and announced it under the title "Bloo", with rumoured song "Foreign Fields" being the lead single. The song, after a long wait, was released on 16 September 2015. The extended play was eventually released on 9 October 2015 and all of the other songs that were on the EP that were not released so far were released onto her YouTube channel.
Later on, within the early months of 2016, she embarked on a massive tour as a guest act alongside Jack Garratt, who was also revealed to have co-produced the extended play, which was able to promote her as well the EP. She revealed that it was just a teaser of what she was expecting to achieve within the music industry.
