Shahar Kober is an Israeli illustrator, art director and lecturer. He lives in Kiryat Tivon, Israel.
Biography
Born in 1979, in Kfar-Saba, and raised in Ganei Am. At age 21, he was admitted to Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, studying illustration and graphic design, graduating in 2005.
After graduating he persisted a freelance career in illustration, illustrating over 40 children's books, published in Israel, The United Kingdom, USA, and other countries. His work is regularly published in newspapers and magazines, and he also contributes art to animation projects. His work was reviewed favorably by Publishers Weekly[1] and Kirkus Reviews[2]. Since 2013, teaches Illustration in the WIZO Haifa Academy of Design and Education, in Haifa, Israel.
