Your question about renaming a page
I see that you left a request for help on Myleslong's talk page. While you could perform the actions that you requested yourself, I'm glad that you sought out the help of others. If you look at the history of the page in question it appears that the information you have provided at Master Masons was once on the page Master Mason [1] but was merged into the main Freemasonry article. It is considered good form before reverting changes others have made to discuss it on the appropriate talk page. In this case I'd recommend Talk:Freemasonry. I'm not an expert on Freemasonry, but based on what I see on both pages, the information is best presented in the context of the rest of the Freemasonry article and should not be spun off unless there is alot more to be added to a page at Master Mason(s). —A 07:56, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, RG; I've been a bit busy. Thanks, A, for answering RG's question. --Myles Long 14:57, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
Can you raise the issue of both the Master Mason page and the Knights Rose Criox page in the talk pages of Freemasonry and Scottish Rite. Both new articles duplicate existing material and before redirecting back to the parent article your views on the content would benefit from being shared, and discussed amongst the active editors in this field. Look forward to the discussion.ALR 14:42, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
Portuguese Association of Ryerson
I nominated an article that you created, Portuguese Association of Ryerson, for deletion. If you think that the article is salvagable, or that I'm mistaken, please comment on its deletion page. Please see the Guide to deletion if you have any questions about Wikipedia's deletion process. -- Ardenn 17:26, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
Remember to always sign all of your posts on talk pages. Typing four tildes after your comment ( ~~~~ ) will insert a signature showing your username and a date/time stamp, which is very helpful. Ardenn 17:49, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labelled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
When you leave the edit summary blank, some of your edits could be mistaken for vandalism and may be reverted, so please always briefly summarize your edits, especially when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you.

Listing for deletion
Hi there, Raoul. I noticed that you tried to list the article on Joel Esler for speedy deletion as being a vanity page. The problem is that you posted the template on the article's talk page, instead of on the article itself. This means that you're suggesting that the talk page be deleted, but not the article (which is sometimes necessary).
No harm done; this is just so you know for next time. DS 15:22, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
Pedro da Silva was speedied as a copyright violation of http://www.canadapost.ca/corporate/about/newsroom/pr/archive-e.asp?prid=856 (not by me). The speedy rules say that you should have been informed on your talk page, which apperantly didn't happen. Thue | talk 20:54, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Pedro_da_Silva.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Pedro_da_Silva.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you have questions about copyright tagging of images, post on Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags or User talk:Carnildo/images. 03:27, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
- I have applied the proper (imo) copyright tag of {{Stamp}}, however to remain on wikipedia's servers the image must be used in an article (see below). —A 08:42, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
Orphaned fair use image (Image:Pedro da Silva.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Pedro da Silva.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that your image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If your image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why your image was deleted. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. —A 08:41, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
Please stop
marking national fraternities for speedy deletion. They clearly do not meet the criteria for speedy deletion. Mark them for normal deletion if you have a reason, but please stop. You're being disruptive.Gator (talk) 21:45, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- I'm just following the rules that you guys set up. I'm being helpful. I had an University association page (that was older than some of these wikis that I am putting up for deletion, and with more members) and it got deleted. I asked what the difference was between the one you guys wanted to delet and others, and recieved no response, just a deletion... so I'm playing by your rules untill I get a proper explanation. (RG 21:49, 3 March 2006 (UTC))
- If you're doing this to make a point, I'd strongly suggest not doing that. See WP:POINT. This could easily be considered vandalism. Don't do it anymore.Gator (talk) 21:51, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- Look, I'm really not here to 'vanadalise'. I'm here to contribute productivly and to use the articles as well. I just cannot understand what the problem was with the wiki-article regarding a University assocition was. I will stop cuz b/c I don't believe that those articles should be deleted, but I also don't believe the one I made should be deleted either. Please offer me an explanation, that's all I ask and figure I should be due. I mean I do contribute quite a bit to wiki and want to continue, but if I am disrespected like this, I take it personally.
- I have no idea wghat you're talking about so I can't offer an explanation. i'd suggest contacting someone who had something to do with deleting that association page, but that really has nothign to do wit this and retaliating by marking good apges is what is disrespectful. You marked article for deletion that are clearly not candidates for deletion and you did it knowing that (in bad faith). That's not good. I'm glad to hear you're stopping. That is good. Continue with your otehrwise fine edits and I hope you cna get some answers and I'm sorry I wasn;t able to provide them.Gator (talk) 22:02, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- I think it had something to do with notability. He created a page on a college organization (Portugese association of Ryleo sp?) and it was deleted for notability most likely. But what RG is nto seeing is that these are pages on national fraternities you pass Wikipedia:Notability. Please do not vandalize these pages anymore. Thanks --Larsinio
- As a rule of thumb for a collegiate group, for single campus organizations, they should be long lasting and relatively well known with known alumni. Skull & Bones at Yale university is an example there. As for Lusophobia, do you believe that the people on Wikipedia would have reacted any differently if this group was for Bulgarians or Koreans at Ryerson? Naraht 17:19, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
Image Tagging Image:Kendal.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Kendal.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. bluemask 08:31, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
List of National laws
Hi there. Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article List of National laws, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the relevant issues at Talk:List of National laws. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Speedy deletion of Artaban
A tag has been placed on Artaban requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Canadian Association of Professional Access and Privacy Administrators, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.capapa.org. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 22:46, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Routing Slip
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Routing Slip, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Routing Slip. TRAVELLINGCARIMy storyTell me yours 01:36, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called RG. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name RG~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Common Authentication Service Adapter has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Lack of WP:SIGCOV in WP:RS leads to failure to demonstrate that it passes WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DrStrauss talk 15:20, 24 October 2017 (UTC)
