Edit reverted in Chernozem

Hello. I saw you reverted my edits that added the Symbolism section to the Chernozem article, and now i agree that the source may have been a bad one. However i added that content based on the Ukrainian Insurgent Army article, which already lists Chernozem as being represented in their flag. I wonder, could we find better sources to cite in the article, and make it trustworthy to re-add that information on it? YuriNikolai (talk) 17:03, 31 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not every dimension is machined

Regarding your reversion on Inspection; while most dimensions may be machined, not every inspected dimension is machined (that is, machine cut or ground), some are cast, pressed, stamped, extruded, etched, welded, filled, sprayed, etc, and now, printed. Thinking of it now, as one who has been a job shop machined part inspector, but now inspecting software, the term machined now seems a bit jargony, even if one is only thinking of manufacturing. Please read about LEAD

Please read WP:LEAD and WP:CITELEAD.

New material does not go in the top of the article in the intro section, as you did here [1].

Additionally, using wording such as One must be cautious about, appears to violate NPOV. Sagecandor (talk) 17:20, 8 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Alexander Grin's Father's Surname

Please explain why you reverted my edit? - https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Alexander_Grin&oldid=prev&diff=769643415 This fact (that the real family name of Stefan Grinevsky was Grynyavitsky or Hrynayvitsky) is proved by official sources:

Da voli (talk) 20:47, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Da voli: because (A) szlachtic polski cannot possibly have official name spelled in belarusian at that time and (B) it contradicts other sources and excuse me the author of texts you cite are not reliable and they dont cite the source of their information. so i prefer to believe info from grin's museum. - üser:Altenmann >t 17:08, 11 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Kukuruku requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates two or fewer extant Wikipedia pages and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic); or
  • disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Question about block of User:Mikgalai

You blocked User:Mikgalai, and deleted the user page User:Mikgalai, in both cases with the logged reason "Impersonation of me". Now that user has requested an unblock, denying any such impersonation. I don't see any such impersonation in any of the contributions of User:Mikgalai, including the deleted contributions. Please explain how and where that user impersonated you, with diffs. I am finding it very hard to understand this block. DES (talk) 10:36, 17 May 2017 (UTC) See the block log for reference. DES (talk) 10:38, 17 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • @DESiegel: my name was mikkalai. At that time i had a struggle with a romanian nationalst vandal who created a bunch of sleeper accounts with names similar to mine and did some stupidities from some of them. Dont you smell something fishy with an unblock request 11 years later from a person without edits who knows what interests i have and in which hemisphere i am. If not, i dont care anymore. P.S. your request about diffs is funny. - üser:Altenmann >t 15:09, 17 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Original source for Western Army (Russia)

It is a Soviet government term. Half the article shouldn't be about Trump. The part I took out didn't add anything more than what I left. It's pointless. ‡ Єl Cid, Єl Caɱ̩peador ᐁT₳LKᐃ 02:57, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Corinne Lamberth Paper

Hello, I saw you contributed to the Aquaphilia(fetish) article back in 2007 and am wondering if you have access to the paper by Corinne Lamberth from 1998 on the psychology of the subject. I would also be very interested in getting an insight into the "Aquaphiles Journal" by Phil Bolton – maybe there is a Link I can feed the Wayback Machine? I am planning to write my bachelor thesis on this little written about topic so any sources are helpful. Best, --Jafschmidt (talk) 18:54, 22 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This is to inform you that an attempt is being made to overturn an RfC that you voted on

This is to inform you that an attempt is being made to overturn an RfC that you voted on (2 RfCs, actually, one less than six months ago and another a year ago). The new RfC is at:

Wikipedia:Village pump (policy)#RfC: Allow private schools to be characterized as non-affiliated as well as religious, in infobox?

Specifically, it asks that "religion = none" be allowed in the infobox.

The first RfC that this new RfC is trying to overturn is:

The result of that RfC was "unambiguously in favour of omitting the parameter altogether for 'none' " and despite the RfC title, additionally found that "There's no obvious reason why this would not apply to historical or fictional characters, institutions etc.", and that nonreligions listed in the religion entry should be removed when found "in any article".

The second RfC that this new RfC is trying to overturn is:

The result of that RfC was that the "in all Wikipedia articles, without exception, nonreligions should not be listed in the Religion= parameter of the infobox.".

Note: I am informing everyone who commented on the above RfCs, whether they supported or opposed the final consensus. --Guy Macon (talk) 03:11, 26 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Revolutionary propaganda has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced original research.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
