Zurmat[pronunciation?] (Pashto: زرمت ولسوالۍ / Persian: ولسوالی زرمت), also spelled as Zormat, is a district in Paktia Province, Afghanistan.[1]

zurmat is district of Paktia Afghanistan. tamir is main bazar of district. much people of zurmat are working in arab countries like dubai , saudi , qatar and kuwait. the population of the district to be around 1,200,000 (CSO 2004).[1] According to the same sources, Pashtuns make up 99% of the total population followed by 1% Tajiks.
