Rename page to uBlock Origin

What about renaming/moving the page under the uBlock Origin name, and make current uBlock page to redict there? Development of the uBlock has been stalled, and it's usage is marginal compared to uBlock Origin. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.192.199.145 (talk) 23:02, 26 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Names

Please remove names from History section, and thin down the name mess in the infobox. • SbmeirowTalk16:19, 27 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, made a stab at it. 01:16, 21 January 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kintpuash (talkcontribs)

UBlockUBlock Origin – Suggested on the talk page, and I agree with the suggestion — the app has been renamed uBlock Origin, and the fork that retained the name uBlock is marginally relevant at best. Goldenshimmer (talk) 20:14, 11 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Chrome Extension weirdness???

Now Chrome Store says uBlock Origin is maintained by gorhill, not Ray. Is that correct?97.123.148.181 (talk) 14:46, 1 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@User:97.123.148.181: They are two different names for the same person. Goldenshimmer (talk) 22:27, 26 May 2016 (UTC) (forgot to sign this when I wrote it)[reply]

Proposed uBlock.org prunning

The site has been without a valid cert for over a week. The extension hasn't been updated for nearly a year. Considering removing most of the ublock.org info except as a footnote in the history of uBlock Origin. Any thoughts? Kintpuash (talk) 19:32, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Is this better at evading detection?

I need a better ad-blocker that isn't detected by sites, which is why I want this. Here's a couple sites for example, that can detect adblock, can this evade it (and block the ads) The snare (talk) 02:50, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It's not supposed to be, it's for discussion- to see if anyone knows and can add it to the article, how it compares to other blockers. The snare (talk) 13:45, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Needs mention of third-party filters to allow firewall access to

e.g., malwaredomains.com

malwaredomains.com and similar deserve an article on Wikipedia, if they don't have one already. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ocdcntx (talkcontribs)

Move version history to own page

How about creating own page for the version history? That long version history table just adds clutter to the article. Just leave couple of notable changes to the article, and move rest to own page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.23.112.148 (talk) 12:14, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure we need it at all, see WP:NOTCHANGELOG. - Ahunt (talk) 15:16, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

What is the revenue model?

What funds the development of this and uMatrix plugins? 59.92.59.0 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 08:50, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

As the article states "The project specifically refuses donations." And the ref cited says "Free. Open source. For users by users. No donations sought." There is no funding at all, it is all done as a hobby. - Ahunt (talk) 20:24, 24 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
