Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School (TBCS) is a co-educational college-preparatory middle and high school located between Darlington, South Carolina and Florence, South Carolina. The school is on a 100-acre (0.40 km2) campus southwest of Florence and serves students in the Pee Dee region of northeast South Carolina. Trinity-Byrnes is the top college preparatory school in the Pee Dee area, with strong academics and arts programs. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools, AdvancED, and the South Carolina Independent Schools Association. The school's motto is: "Loyalty, Honor, Perseverance", which reflects the school's goal to educate well-rounded young people and prepare them for life ahead. The school serves about 250 students from grades 7 - 12.
Academics
Trinity-Byrnes is a college preparatory school that has a rigorous and flexible course schedule for each student. TBCS requires each student to take at least one of each of the core classes (math, science, history/geography, English). Each student must also take at least one foreign language. The school offers Latin, French, and Spanish. 12 Advanced Placement courses are also offered.

Athletics
Trinity-Byrnes has one of the top athletic programs in SCISA. The school is in SCISA Class 2A. TBCS' athletic goal is to educate student-athletes who show sportsmanship and perseverance. TBCS offers 16 sports at the Varsity and Junior Varsity level. Every student is expected but not required to participate in at least one sport.
