WIXT is an AM radio station broadcasting on a frequency of 1230 kHz and licensed to the city of Little Falls, New York. It has a format known as Tony FM 99.1.[1]

WIXT is owned by Galaxy Communications.[2]

History of Tony FM

On September 8, 2016 W256AJ FM translator broke from its WRNY simulcast to become variety hits-formatted Tony FM, a simulcast of WKLL HD2; an fm translator may not operate independently, but must have an originating station. In this case both WKLL HD2 and WIXT fulfill that requirement. WIXT became part of the Tony FM format on March 23, 2018.[3].
