We've Done Something Wonderful is the ninth studio album by the South Korean hip hop group Epik High. The album was released on October 23, 2017, by YG Entertainment. It would be their final release under YG before their departure from the label on October 2, 2018.[1] "Home is Far Away" and "Love [Story]" (featuring Oh Hyuk and IU respectively,) served as the title tracks for the album.
Background and release
On September 27, 2017, Epik High released a video, confirming their 9th album and its title, set for release on October 23. The video also revealed that South Korean sisnger, IU, would feature on the album.[2] On October 12, a poster was revealed containing lyrics from one of the album's songs.[3] The full album was released on October 23, 2017, with first tile track, "Home is Far Away" (featuring hyukoh's Oh Hyuk. The album's 2nd single, "Love [Story]" (feat. IU) released on Octber 27.
Reception
We've Done Something Wonderful peaked at #6 on the South Korean GAON chart*[4] and #2 on the US World Albums chart.[5]
