A tutor group is a term used in UK schools. The purpouse of a tutor group is similar to a form. Students are normally assigned a tutor group every so often, where they will often stay in for 2 years or more. Tutor Groups are not used sometimes in lessons such as english and maths, and are more commonly not used in technology lessons where they would join together with other tutor groups in the year and then be split up alphabeticaly and go on to do that lesson
