See drop-down box for suggested article edit guidelines:

  • Be bold - if you know something about Cornwall then put it in! We value your contributions and don't be afraid if your spelling isn't great as there are plenty of spelling and grammar experts on clean-up duty!
  • Articles on settlements in Cornwall should be written using the standard set of headings approved by the UK geography WikiProject's guideline How to write about settlements.
  • At WikiProject Cornwall we subscribe to the policies laid down by Wikipedia - particularly civility and consensus building. We are aware that the wording on Cornish entries can sometimes be a contentious topic, especially those concerning geography. You don't have to agree with everything but there is no excuse for rudeness and these things are best solved through consensus building and compromise. For more information see WP:CornwallGuideline.
  • These pages are not platforms for political discussion. Issues relating to Cornish politics should be restricted to those pages that directly deal with these issues (such as Constitutional status of Cornwall, Cornish nationalism, etc) and should not overflow into other articles.
  • Most of all have fun editing - that's the reason we all do this, right?!

Merge proposal

The library/archive described by the article Cornish National Library sounds very much like the Kresen Kernow archive centre currently under construction. As this article describes an existing facility whereas the Cornish National Library describes a facility proposal, I suggest that relevant information be merged into this article. However, I would also support a merge in the opposite direction if recent sources indicate the new facility will be known as the Cornish National Library. —Shelley V. Adamsblame

Support the merge of the 3 pages, particularly given the forthcoming consolidation to the same site. Klbrain (talk) 10:41, 5 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Given that the blue section here says both the Record Office and the Library have now closed perhaps a new article Kresen Kernow with subsections paraphrasing the two articles on the earlier bodies. Jackiespeel (talk) 16:13, 8 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Support merging these pages into a National Library of Cornwall page. My understanding is that the building currently being constructed is called Kresen Kernow in honour of the building of that name in Redruth which formerly housed the Cornish Studies Library but that this building will house the new National Library of Cornwall. As the Cornish Studies Library building is already widely known by the name Kresen Kernow I would suggest not using it for the merged article as it could cause confusion Bodrugan (talk) 14:01, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Support There is no institute known as the Cornish "national" library.Serpren (talk) 13:42, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This page should be merged with the Kresen Kernow page as all the collections are moving to Kresen Kernow,193.35.158.39 (talk) 13:09, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
