World NTD Day is an awareness day for addressing neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).

The first World NTD Day is 30 January 2020.[1]

2020 is a special year for the global health response to NTDs because in this year United Nations publishes its 10-year plan for reducing NTDs.[1]

Reem Al Hashimi announced the event on behalf of the government of the United Arab Emirates[2]
