Author of LRSTAR: an LR(*) parser generator. He has been working on the "world's best" parser generator since April 1978. Since then he has implemented: (1) "Efficient Computation of LALR(1) Look-Ahead Sets" by DeRemer and Pennello, (2) "Optimization of Parser Tables for Portable Compilers" by Dencker, Durr and Heuft, (3) "A Practical General Method for Constructing LR(k) Parsers" by Pager.
