HMTV is a 24-hour Telugu news channel headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana. hmtvlive.com is a news portal which strives to keep you hooked on to news-as it happens. Our team aims to keep you abreast with whatever is making headlines across the world including politics, business, sports, lifestyle and entertainment. In a nutshell, we closely highlight socio-economic development of India in general and the two Telugu states in particular. hmtv is a Telugu News Channel which is started in the year 2009 and is owned and operated by Hyderabad Media House Ltd, which also runs English Daily The Hans India.

hmtv operates with slogan "Vaartha Aagadu.. Nijam Daagadu". CEO of the channel is Mr. S Chandra Sekhar.

hmtv can be viewed via Direct to Home operators, local cable networks or from our YouTube Channel. We are available on Tata Sky: Channel 1444 ; Sun Direct: Channel 185; Reliance: Channel 731; Videocon: Channel 726; Dish TV: Channel 726; Hathway: Channel 42

The channel broadcasts shows such as Jordar Varthalu, Jeevan Rekha, Burning Topic and Nela Thalli to name few. On 15 July 2011, Hyderabad Media House started an English-language Daily "The Hans India".
