Stan Frownfelter

Stan Frownfelter (born May 12, 1951) is a Democratic member of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing the 37th district. He has served since January 3, 2007.[1] He served as the House Assistant Minority Leader from 2017 to 2019.[2]

Frownfelter has a bachelor's degree from Emporia State University.[3]

Frownfelter lost the August 4, 2020, Democratic primary election for his seat to 19-year-old Aaron Coleman.[4] Frownfelter announced he would run a write-in campaign after Coleman was pressured to drop out due to his history of revenge porn.[5]
