Apology

I apologize for stating that you oppose child-advocates. Perhaps, like Doctor Benjamin Spock did, before he learned the truth, you believe that circumcision is good.

I am sorry.

Hi Denni. Thanks for your suggestion on Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates for Image:Onsen in Nachikatsuura, Japan.jpg. I cropped the image using my high resolution source file, and removed the car and power pylons. Could you have a look and see if it is better now? (Press CTRL and click reload if you still see the old image) I think your suggestions helped. Thanks -- Chris 73 Talk 09:04, 20 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Wildflowers

If you can identify some of the species and give an approximate location, your image "DwSixspecies.jpg" would be good at Wildflower (not a very inspiring entry). Wetman 21:52, 30 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Changing username

Hi Denni. A while ago you requested a username change to Denni on Wikipedia:Changing username, but the new user account was already created. If you wish, the edit history from Dwindrim can be reattributed to the account Denni, effectively "changing" the username, as you can simply use the new account instead. If you want to do this, can you please make an edit saying so on that page from this account (Dwindrim), and also log in as Denni and make another edit there to confirm it? Regards Kate Turner | Talk 09:17, 2004 Sep 5 (UTC)

Hi Kate - thanks for your help with this so far. I have moved my userpage over, and anm just preparing to move my talk page - as soon as this note to you is done. I'd also appreciate apointer to the page which describes how this is done - as a baby admin, I think it's something I ought to know.
Looks like both were successful - can you reattribute my edits to this new location? Thanks so so much!Denni 22:27, 2004 Sep 5 (UTC)

Universal Time

Hey Denni,

Which universal time are you using? GMT, UT1, or UTC?

How's it going, buddy?

Kristie

Isn't GMT=UTC? Ilγαηερ (Tαlκ) 23:00, 25 Sep 2004 (UTC)

RFC pages on VfD

Should RFC pages be placed on VfD to be deleted? I'm considering removing Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Slrubenstein, Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Jwrosenzweig and Wikipedia:Requests for comment/John Kenney from WP:VFD. Each of them was listed by CheeseDreams. Your comments on whether I should do this would be appreciated. - Ta bu shi da yu 03:35, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Where do I put the image tag?

E.U. Essien-Udom image

Hi Danni, I got the image of Essien-Udom from the cover of the obituary/order of service distributed at a memorial service held in his honor at Howard University by his family and friends.

Nnamdi

fun question for you!

Hi. I was just wondering what we could expect in the oceans if the winds died completely, and did not return very soon. Thanks. M.

Hope you like the changes

Denni- Hope you like the direction the article concerning high pressure is going. Methinks your creation will be everlasting, immune to any merge threats!!!

Call for AMA election

AMA Member Advocate,

There's a poll currently in the AMA Homepage about making a new AMA Coordinator election. Please, cast your vote there (though it's not mandatory). Any comments you have about this, write it on the AMA Homepage talk page. Cheers, --Neigel von Teighen 18:43, 4 Jan 2005 (UTC)

AMA Membership Meeting

As AMA Coordinator I am requesting that suggestions be placed on Wikipedia:AMA Membership Meeting plans for our first membership meeting, to be held in the near future, (hopefully before any election occurs.) Since we have never had any kind of "official" meeting we need to discuss how this will occur (i.e. Wiki pages or IRC channel), how it will be structured (i.e. meeting agenda) and if there will be any "chair" to supervise the meeting and meeting "secretary" to write up minutes or keep some kind of official record of what transpires. Thanks in advance for your input and your continued work as an advocate.

OFFICIAL AMA MEETING NOTICE

The first AMA Membership meeting will be held on Sunday January 23, 2005 at 19:00 UTC on freenode IRC channel #AMA. That is 2 PM Eastern NA (Miami/Montreal) Time, 11 AM Pacific NA (Los Angeles/Vancover)Time, and 8 PM Central European (Amsterdam/Stokholm/Warsaw/Venice) Time. All members are invited to attend. — © Alex756 19:49, 16 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Hi, I'm not sure how to contact you; I was wondering if I could replace the picture you posted of ice fog on the "Fog" page; I have a night photo which I think shows the fog much more visibly, although the image crispness isn't as strong as what's there now. --Tomt

Logs of first AMA Membership meeting

You may view the log of the first meeting on the following two pages: Wikipedia:AMA IRC Meeting log (1-23-05) (first hour) and Wikipedia:AMA IRC Meeting log (1-23-05) Pt II (remainder of meeting). If you are interested in commenting on the agenda of the meeting please do so here:Wikipedia:AMA Meeting (suggested topics).

OFFICIAL SECOND MEETING NOTICE AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

The coordinator is requesting that members submit the following information for the upcoming coordinator’s report:

  • How many individuals did you help as an advocate
  • What is the maximum amount of time you put into a case
  • Do you feel your work as an advocate was successful?
  • How can the advocacy program of the AMA be improved?

Thank you. Please submit your responses here: Wikipedia:AMA Coordinator/January 2005 Survey

Noticing your contribution...

Noticing on User Talk:Malyctenar page that "... As a Czechoslovak on my mom's side, I allow =no one= to get away with calling Ujezd "just a street name." Welcome to WikiEN! Denni☯ 03:54, 2004 Jun 25 (UTC)... I wonder : a/ Czechoslovak ? What "animal" is this ? Czech OR Slovak? b/ and then "a monther tongue ". Copak Vám ještě z mateřské řeči, získané opravdu přímo od maminky, zůstalo ? Czech

V každém případě Vás moc zdravím. Many greetings to you in any case. Radoneme 05/01/26/

Hi there,

Thanks loads for leaving a note on my talk page about the image "Dv_sidekick.jpg". Unfortunately, I've forgotten when I got it from so it's probably best to delete it! Sorry!

Thanks again. I'm very glad there are people like you who are generous enough to keep WikiPedia alive and healthy.

Thanks, Jack.
