List of Players.

This list is for individual players. Please keep it as such and create links from their names to the bands/groups they are associated with.

I think listing the bands is fine as long as the actual player is also mentioned, e.g. "Bob Glockenspiel of Teh Awesome Boyz." For cases where it's not clear, perhaps something like "Members of Teh Awesome Boyz" or something. --Davetron5000 14:54, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It looks much cleaner to just have their names. After all, the topic is *List of Keytar Players*.
What can it hurt to include the band they are from? Seems useful. This is called List of keytar players simply because List of bands or people known to have played keytars just seemed too ridiculous.

.......................................................................................... Having only the artist names keeps down the practice of self-advertising which Wikipedia has stated is not an accepted practice.

I think that stuff is best suited for **My Space**. As it 's been stated already, let them link their name and then see if it meets the Wikipedia criteria

I've had a lot of trouble going through the list and finding multi-instrumentalists does anyone else want to split the list into people who have keytar as their main instrument and those that play other instuments most of the time. I'll do it myself I just want to make sure I don't offend anyone. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 211.27.180.148 (talk) 10:37, 5 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

At the very least, anyone added should be searchable and found through google. The criteria of this page is at best, suspect. As of late even fictional characters have been added IE: "borat" i removed this entry from the list. Just because somone played "Keytar" for one moment does not qualify them to be added as a contributer to the instrument.

I don't see a problem in mentioning noteworthy fictional persons for whom playing keytar was a noteworthy element of their character. In particular, I'd like to see Ray Lovelock of Macross 7 and Melodia of Silverhawks. Perhaps we can have another section on the page for fictional characters? --Luthwyhn 08:46, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Redirected to keytarist

I redirected this page to the Keytarist article. I included the list of keytar players as it was on this page. --Thebluesharpdude (talk) 19:15, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
