Avoid weasel words
Avoid using weasel words. The recent edits by 70.35.237.67 have introduced many weasel words and phrases, indicating favoritism such as "fans say" or "to fans excitement." According to official policy:
"Weasel words are words or phrases that seemingly support statements without attributing opinions to verifiable sources. Weasel words give the force of authority to a statement without letting the reader decide if the source of the opinion is reliable. If a statement can't stand on its own without weasel words, it lacks neutral point of view; either a source for the statement should be found, or the statement should be removed."
The following edits, where weasel words are contained, will be reverted. They shall not be reintroduced without providing appropriate citations. Seicer (talk) (contribs) 14:40, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
Powerboat racing
I was watch the Speed channel, and I happened to catch Stan Lane calling play-by-play for a powerboat race. This should be added to the article. Anybody know anything else about this?
Stan Lane with Superboat
Hi.This is Maria Lane..Stan Lanes wife. I just happened to stumble onto this website and saw your comment regarding Stan commentating the powerboat races. He works for Superboat International out of Florida, and has been for over 10 years now. He does the play by play, color commentary, as well as producing the show for TV. You can see the schedule for the boat-races on superboat.com . You may also want to try to attend a few of the races. It's alot of fun. He still attends a few of the Wrestling Legend Festivals. He enjoys seeing his friends and his fans.
Neutrality
This is yet another pro wrestling page that favors fan bias over a proper, nonpartisan neutral tone. This is supposed to be an encyclopedia, build on facts and opinionated descriptions; not a blog, not a retrospective, and not a commentary. Thecleanerand (talk) 19:53, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
