Modrenism is an art movement from the 21st century that expands on the interest in Modernism while honoring traditions and artwork from the Renaissance. Rightfully named for the involvement of new ideas while keeping a traditional foundation. Modrenism was first named to distinguished abstract and contemporary art from thoroughly researched paintings by Dylan Lombardo. This endeavor of rediscovering lost techniques of the old masters was reborn with a modern touch of spontaneity and pre-planned coloration.
