Sarkozin oksidaza (EC 1.5.3.1, sarkozinska oksidaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom sarkozin:kiseonik oksidoreduktaza (demetilacija).[1][2][3] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju:
- sarkozin + H2O + O2 glicin + formaldehid +H2O2
Ovaj enzim je flavoprotein (FAD). Flavin kovalentno i nekovalentno vezan u molarnom odnosu 1:1.
