Michael Kort

Michael Kort (born 1944) is an author. He is a Professor of Social Science at Boston University.

Michael Kort was born in 1944. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from John Hopkins University, and his Master's and Ph.D. in Russian History from New York University.[1]

Bibliography

Kort's books include biographies of Nikita Krushchev and Mikhail Gorbachev, and textbooks The Soviet Colossus: A history of the U.S.S.R. and The Soviet Union: History, Culture, Geography. Other nonfiction books of Kort's include The Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union (1992) and Marxism in Power (1993)
